1. Construction design supervision, participation in commissioning, Customer’s personnel training.

Design supervision work package is carried out by OJSC “Giprogazoochistka” specialists pursuant to applicable regulatory documentation [11].

Design supervision is one of services to be performed by author of the project and other developers of design documentation over construction in order to provide conformity of detail documentation solutions with field construction and erection works.

Our specialists possess knowledge in facilities construction support “from the most north to the most south”: from settlement Yuzhnaya Khylcha with air temperature - 50оС  to Mubarek town (Uzbekistan) with shade temperature +50оС. Capacity of sulphur recovery units, constructed upon our design, ranges between 1.5 and 300 thous.t of sulphur per annum. We share our knowledge in the fields of construction, startup, debugging and normal operation of sulphut units with the staff operating newly constructed facilities in the training process.

2. Performance of Main Contractor functions, facilities construction.

In general, facility construction includes the following types of work:

• organization of the whole facility construction work package in conformity with approved design documentation and work execution both by own personnel and by subcontractors;
• preparation and control of overall construction schedule of facility;
• making up and optimization of construction financing plan or repair plan;
• subcontracting work coordination;
• adherence to work technique at construction site;
• provision with required material resources and machinery for construction;
• implementation of safety arrangements and precautions;
• rational area use and environmental protection;
• individual testing of installed equipment and participation in its test run in presence of the customer’s and operating organization representatives;
• handing over of constructed facility to the operating organization for further operation in accordance with established procedure;
• presentation of completed facility for acceptance by working acceptance committee.

Turnkey facility construction is carried out on the basis and within the frames of applicable regulatory documentation. Turnkey construction of facilities includes construction of facilities ready for operation while concentrating the management functions of all investment process stages in one organizational structure, and is implemented as a single uninterrupted generic process of completed facility construction (design – construction and assembly operations including supply of all process and technical equipment – placing into operation) [12].

“Giprogazoochistka” company is interested in execution of all construction works with regard to units developed by our project designs. Our specialists of varous qualification and specialization categories ar ready to share their experience in all stages of construction, installation and commissioning works. We are prepared to carry out all work package including turnkey construction of our facilities in accordance with the customer’s option.

3. Project support after facility startup.

Generally, the project provides for warranty period within which the started up facility shall ensure compliance of actual and design gas processing performance (purification level, efficiency, achievable dew point, etc.). Long-term unit operation inevitably results in internal and external changes in the system: catalyst activity changes, composition, pressure, flowrate of gas supplied for processing also is subject to variation. These changes require early and adequate response in order to maintain declared gas processing capacity. Problems of this sort can be solved by OJSC “Giprogazoochistka” specialists in close cooperation with operations divisions.

And we have all appropriate means in our inventory to solve such problems.

Integrated survey of production facility or efficiency estimation of the separate unit on the process chain can be performed depending on actual situation. The survey can be performed by GGO specialists themselves using available means of instrumental monitoring, or involving specialists from the plant laboratory or from third organizations. Based on survey results or the customer’s data, required process calculations are made, and package of proposals is prepared in respect of efficiency upgrading for a single vessel or production line as a whole.
